We are equipped to see certain urgent care cases during our regular hours. How do you know if you should seek immediate Veterinary Care for your pet? Look for the following signs and give us a call. We see urgent care cases based on appointment only.
- Sudden lameness in any leg
- Ear infections
- Biting at skin or paws
- Seizures that are not continuous
- Diarrhea and vomiting
- Coughing
- Viral and bacterial infections
- Painful urinary tract infections
- Painful oral conditions
- Non-life threatening trauma of any type
- Eye ulcerations
- Minor Lacerations
- Ear hematomas
- Possible slipped disc
- Advanced flea allergy dermatitis with constant scratching and skin bleeding
- Constipation
- Non-life threatening intoxication
- Broken and bleeding nails
However, if your pet experiences an after-hours emergency, they require an overnight observation, or we determine they require a level of specialty care that can be better provided elsewhere, we’ll refer you to the closest specialty care or emergency animal hospital.
