Patricia Turmenne

Dr. Patty Turmenne was born and raised in Connecticut. Dr. Turmenne received her undergraduate degrees from Becker College in Massachusetts. She then moved to the Caribbean to attend veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts. While at Ross, she worked closely with the university’s teaching dog colony and was involved in their obedience training and care. While working with these great dogs, Dr. Turmenne fell in love with her coconut retriever, Selly, whom she adopted and brought back to the states.

Dr. Turmenne completed her clinical rotations and final year of veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and received her degree in 2017. Dr. Turmenne then moved back to Connecticut and has been working in her home state ever since. Along the way, Dr. Turmenne has adopted four cats; Clarke, Pixel, Biscotti, and Poppy.

Dr. Turmenne fosters with a wonderful shelter organization in Connecticut. She specializes in kittens that need to be bottle raised but also has many other young kitten fosters as well. Dr. Turmenne also shares a passion for fear free veterinary visits and is Fear Free certified.

In her free time, she enjoys crafts of all kinds, tending to her garden, and all things Disney. She also loves spending time with her family and friends whenever she can.
